Technology Implemented
As Marmografica makes various types of handmade cement products, it also makes a wide variety of different types of concrete. The most simple mixture, which is mostly used for structural elements, is made with granite sand and river gravel.
We have also created a mixture for external decorative elements with a volcanic lapillus and granite sand base. These materials guarantee an advantage in terms of weight and moreover, breathability.
Along with our main supplier we have created an ideal mixture, which includes higher quality inert materials such as marble chips. This can be used in more finely finished elements, such as in window sills.
We have increased our use of GRC fiber cement in cornices, fences and decorative elements in order to guarantee a product that is light-weight, yet at the same time resistant to weather and mechanical stress.
